1. What Information We Collect

• Merchant Information: Store name, shop domain, and Shopify store ID. Access tokens provided by Shopify to enable app functionality. Product and brand data provided by you, including the list of authorized brands.
• Usage Data: App usage metrics, such as interactions and preferences, to improve the app’s functionality and performance.

We do not collect payment information, passwords, or sensitive personal data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect to:

• Enable the core functionality of the app, including product data generation and brand management.
• Verify products against your authorized brand list before processing them.
• Provide customer support and improve app features.

We do not store customer data or process sensitive personal information beyond what is required to sync with your Shopify store.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Your data is not shared with third parties except in the following circumstances:

• With Shopify: To enable integration and functionality within your store.
• Legal Obligations: To comply with legal requests or regulations, if applicable.

We do not sell or use your data for marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as necessary to provide app functionality. Upon app uninstallation, all merchant-specific data, such as access tokens and brand lists, are removed unless required to comply with legal obligations.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including secure API calls to Shopify and access control measures. However, we do not currently encrypt stored data, so merchants should understand the inherent risks.

6. GDPR and Data Requests

We comply with Shopify's GDPR webhooks to handle customer data requests. Shopify automatically notifies us of any data access or deletion requests from customers, and we process these requests as per their guidelines.

7. Authorized Brand Policy

The app is designed to help merchants generate product pages exclusively for authorized brands. Merchants are responsible for maintaining an accurate list of authorized brands. Products not associated with a listed brand will not be processed or added to the store.

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be communicated by updating the “Effective Date” at the top of this document.
